A few things have become clear over the weeks since I wrote my Fifty Shades of Grey review.
It’s a polarizing book. You either love it, or you hate it. The people who loved it become evangelists, trying to convince as many people as possible to read it too. The people who hated it are desperate to find other people who hated it too. My blog hits are currently more than 75% on my bad reviews of Fifty Shades of Grey, and the search terms? I’ll post them at the end. Apparently those of us that hated the book need to know that there are other people out there who also couldn’t stand it, since most of the people who read it seem to think it’s the sexiest thing since David Hasselhoff.
Rest assured, this too, shall pass. Eventually. Maybe she’ll be really lucky, a la Marquis de Sade, and she’ll have abusive relationships called Jamism. In fact, let’s “spread the word”. All in favor? Let’s see Jamism all over Facebook.
